A study on direct-seeded rice looked at different nitrogen levels and weed management methods. They found that using 160 kg of nitrogen per hectare and two hand weeding sessions led to the best crop growth and highest yield. This combination resulted in lower weed biomass and density, as well as better performance in terms of yield and net returns compared to other treatments.
