The article presents new inequalities that compare different types of averages, like the mean and the geometric mean. These inequalities can be used to understand and calculate divergences in various mathematical contexts. The researchers found that these new inequalities can help analyze Tsallis divergence, Rényi divergence, Jeffreys–Tsallis divergence, and Jensen–Shannon–Tsallis divergence.
