New Study Reveals Best Lighting for Keeping Anthurium Plants Green Indoors!
The researchers studied how Anthurium × ‘Red’ plants respond to different light levels. They looked at leaves in three positions and exposed them to high, medium, and low light intensities. After six months, the plants were moved to low light conditions indoors. The old leaves didn't change much, but the mature and top leaves had more chlorophyll. In the greenhouse, medium light didn't affect photosynthesis much, but it helped the plants look greener and grow bigger leaves. In low light indoors, the middle leaves improved their photosynthesis. Overall, medium light is best for keeping Anthurium × ‘Red’ plants healthy indoors.
