Sedimentation in Cengklik Reservoir on the Rise, Threatening Water Supply.
The Cengklik Reservoir is experiencing high sedimentation rates due to changes in land use. By analyzing erosion using a special equation, researchers found that sedimentation has increased over the past 10 years, with the highest amount occurring in 2016. Despite the increase, the erosion was classified as light. The reservoir's trap efficiency, a measure of how well it captures sediment, was found to be high at 95.254%.
