The researchers studied the diversity of aquatic plants in Manda Tukum Lake in Maharashtra over two years. They found 15 different types of aquatic plants, including floating, rooted, submerged, and emergent species. Nelumbo and Nymphea plants were most common in the winter, making the lake more beautiful.
