The article discusses how using ecosystem services assessment in urban planning can improve sustainability in cities. A landscaping project in Moscow was evaluated to show the benefits of green infrastructure, such as carbon sequestration, water transpiration, air purification, and climate regulation. The project will help absorb pollutants, conserve water, store carbon, and reduce thermal stress.
