The study looked at how inflation persists in West African Commonwealth Countries. Different methods were used to analyze this, and all showed high inflation persistence in these countries. Only one method didn't find inflation persistence in Gambia. Sierra Leone had particularly high inflation persistence. The research confirmed that inflation persistence is a significant issue in these countries.
