The researchers studied the water quality and metal levels in Ulu Jempul River. They tested samples from five spots in March and April 2013 for temperature, pH, oxygen levels, and more. They found that agricultural activities were the main reason for changes in water quality. The water met the national standards, except for oxygen levels. Overall, the river was classified as slightly polluted based on the BOD values.
