Joint research between Korea and Myanmar Agricultural Mechanization Department tested Korean farm machinery in Myanmar fields. They aimed to assess the performance of a tractor, rice combine, and drying/storage complex in local conditions. The machines were modified based on test results to better suit the environment. The tractor performed well with various attachments, while the combine harvester showed satisfactory cooling and discharge systems. The dryer also performed effectively. Further tests and improvements are planned for 2018, with the hope that Korean farm machinery will be well-received by farmers in Myanmar.
