The study found that both diets had similar milk production efficiency. However, cows fed corn silage with alfalfa silage produced slightly more milk. As lactation progressed, milk production efficiency decreased in both groups. Overall, supplementing corn silage with alfalfa silage improved milk yield and efficiency.
