The study assessed the quality of drinking and irrigation water in Shirala village, Maharashtra, to understand the health risks. They analyzed various parameters like pH, hardness, acidity, and total dissolved solids in water samples from wells. Some parameters exceeded safe limits set by authorities. Water quality affects human health and irrigation suitability. By examining acidity, alkalinity, calcium, chloride, and other factors, the researchers could estimate water quality and its impact on aquatic life in the area.
