The study looked at how climate and technology affect rice production in Nepal from 1990 to 2016. They found that CO2 emissions decreased rice production, while temperature and precipitation increased it. Using fertilisers, improved seeds, and agricultural credit also boosted rice production. The researchers suggest that providing subsidised fertilisers and increasing agricultural credit could help increase rice production and improve farmers' income in Nepal.
