Financial knowledge among coastal women in Kerala is low, hindering their financial stability. A study assessed their knowledge on interest rates, inflation, and participation in financial literacy campaigns. Despite Kerala's strong financial inclusion, women lack basic financial understanding. Initiatives like Kudumbasree and self-help groups have empowered women economically, but more efforts are needed to improve their financial knowledge.
