Photovoltaics (PV) use sunlight to generate electricity through solar panels made of semiconductor materials like silicon. PV is now the most affordable source of electricity, helping to combat global warming. The study looked at how the output of PV arrays changes with sunlight and temperature, how well they perform over a day, and simulated a PV microgrid using MATLAB.
