Cutting Costs, Boosting Yields: New Farming Method Revolutionizes Wheat Production
The study looked at how different ways of adding nutrients to soil affect wheat yield. They tested two methods on farmers' fields in Rajasthan. One method used vermi compost and half the usual amount of chemicals, while the other used full chemicals, farmyard manure, and zinc sulfate. Both methods gave similar wheat yields, showing that using less chemicals can still produce good crops. This means farmers can save money on fertilizers without reducing their wheat harvest.
