Partisan Bias Influences Risky Choices, Shaping Policy Decisions.
The study looked at how people's political beliefs affect their decision-making in risky situations. Participants were given scenarios where they had to choose between safe and risky options, with different political parties proposing the options. Results showed that people were influenced by both the way the options were presented (as gains or losses) and by their political preferences. This means that people tend to choose riskier options when they align with their preferred political party, regardless of the potential outcomes.
