A sustainable blockchain framework was developed for the halal food supply chain in Malaysia. The framework addresses challenges faced by small and medium enterprises in implementing blockchain technology. Through case studies, it was found that blockchain can improve transparency and integrity in the halal food supply chain. Supply chain integration and food regulations play key roles in the success of blockchain technology in this context. The findings suggest that blockchain can offer a new perspective for the halal food supply chain.
