Improved agricultural technology boosts rural household income in Ethiopia by $23,031.
Adopting improved agricultural technologies in eastern Ethiopia can increase farm household income. A study of 248 rural households found that those using improved crop and livestock technologies had an average annual income of 23,031.28 Birr higher than those not using such technologies. This suggests that promoting various agricultural technologies among smallholders can be beneficial for increasing income.
