A study looked at what factors influence the availability of credit in the agricultural sector. They found that the number of farmers and the country's overall economic performance positively affect the availability of credit. However, the interest rates on credit did not have a significant impact. To improve farmers' access to credit, it is important to boost the agricultural sector's economic growth and provide financial education to increase financial literacy among farmers.
