The article reviews how insurance companies in Ukraine protect farmers. It finds that the current agricultural insurance system is not working well, with limited options and high costs. Only a few insurers offer agricultural insurance. Farmers prefer complex and index insurance, as well as insurance for animals and poultry. The State's support for agricultural insurance has not been very popular due to complicated processes and uncertainty about receiving subsidies. To improve the situation, changes in legislation are needed to make agricultural insurance more accessible and reliable for farmers.
