Optimizing soybean fertilizer ratios boosts yields and plant health significantly.
A study on soybean growth and yield found that using a specific ratio of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers, along with potassium, led to higher seed yield. The best results were seen with a ratio of 0.70, which included both basal and foliar applications of nitrogen. This treatment resulted in higher seed yield, more pods per plant, heavier seeds, and increased leaf area and dry matter production. The research shows that the right balance of nutrients can significantly improve soybean productivity under rainfed conditions.
