Unemployment in Saudi Arabia Drives Inflation, No Short-Term Tradeoff Found
The study looked at how inflation and unemployment are related in Saudi Arabia from 1988 to 2017. They used statistical methods to see if there is a long-term connection between the two. The results showed that in the long run, higher unemployment leads to lower inflation in Saudi Arabia. However, in the short term, there was no clear tradeoff between inflation and unemployment.
