Consumer Insurance Bill Fails to Protect, Urgent Reforms Needed
The Iranian government needs to update its insurance laws to clearly define consumer insurance separately from trade insurance. Currently, there is no distinction between the two in the Trade Insurance Bill, leading to unequal protection for consumers. By using the Adaptive Study Method, it is shown that consumer insurance policies need specific clauses and legal sanctions to ensure fair treatment. The current lack of differentiation is not in line with global financial and insurance standards.
