Algorithmic trading is a popular way of trading stocks using computer programs. In China, it's not as common as in the USA, but it's growing fast. Chinese markets have special rules, like price limits, that affect trading. This study created a new model to predict how much trading volume happens during price limits in China. The model helps make algorithmic trading more accurate and effective in Chinese markets, especially during times of high stock market volatility.
