Paper Summary

The study looked at using microalgae biofuel as a replacement for Jet A fuel in aviation engines to reduce CO2 emissions. They tested different blends of biofuel and Jet A fuel in a small experimental jet engine. Results showed that lower levels of biofuel mixed with Jet A fuel improved engine performance and reduced emissions of CO, CO2, and NOx. However, higher levels of biofuel didn't work well due to lower energy content.
