Optimizing River Water Quality: Strategically Distributing Water Boosts Environmental Impact
The study looked at how different factors affect the quality of river water. By studying Liudu River in Yiwu City, researchers found that the way water is distributed can impact water quality. They discovered that distributing water in a concentrated way is better than spreading it out, and distributing water upstream is better than downstream. Increasing the amount of water distributed can improve water quality, but the impact lessens with each additional unit of water. Overall, the location and method of water distribution play a role in improving river water quality.
