Valuing new technology-based firms and startups is crucial for entrepreneurs and investors. A framework was created to evaluate different valuation methods for these firms in emerging markets. The methods were grouped into asset, intellectual property, technology, and startups valuation methods. Experts determined the importance of criteria using a specific method. Fuzzy TOPSIS was used to prioritize and identify strengths and weaknesses of each method. The results show which valuation methods are best for evaluating different types of firms and suggest ways to improve existing methods.
