The article looks at what makes football clubs successful in Brazil. They studied 30 clubs from 2010 to 2014 and found that having a higher team payroll, being in a city with a higher standard of living, having previous experience in the league, and winning state championships can increase a club's chances of success. However, using more players in the tournament can actually hurt a club's performance. These factors can help clubs do well in the Brazilian League.
