Architecture development is a process that helps figure out the best systems to achieve specific goals. This study uses common language from systems engineering to explain how different systems can work together effectively. By looking at a civil space example, the study shows how different levels of architecture fit together. It also gives tips on how to study and improve mission area architectures, like setting up options, creating functions and measures, and testing designs to see if they meet requirements.
