New biodiesel blend increases fuel density, impacting vehicle emissions.
The article studied different types of diesel fuel, including biodiesel made from DipterocarpusAlatus, to see how they perform at standard and low temperatures. They tested the fuel to make sure it met vehicle emission standards. The researchers found that as the amount of biodiesel in the diesel oil increased, the density also increased. They used an equation to predict the density and viscosity of the fuel, which was very close to the actual results.
