RCEP Trade Deal to Reshape Global Agricultural Landscape, Boost Economies
In this research, experts looked at how different trade policies affect agriculture. They combined two types of economic models to get a clear picture: one that covers the whole economy and another that focuses on specific agricultural products. By blending these methods, they saw that knowing exact tariff details is better than using simple averages when studying trade agreements like the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). This means having detailed product information can give a more accurate view of how tariffs impact agriculture trade under big regional agreements.
