New Window Design Boosts Visual Comfort in Algerian Classrooms
Algerian classrooms face issues with too much sunlight causing glare and heat. A study looked at different window designs to improve daylight and comfort. Measurements and simulations showed that a mix of clear and reflective glass with specific proportions can increase useful daylight and reduce glare. The best configuration had 75% clear glass, 25% reflective glass, and a 30% wall-to-window ratio, achieving better lighting in classrooms. More improvements are needed for optimal visual comfort.
