This paper presents a new method to calculate hydraulic properties of an aquifer using recovery data instead of residual drawdown data. The researchers developed a formula to compute recovery from extrapolated drawdown, based on data from an artesian aquifer in Denmark. They used nonequilibrium formulas to make the calculations and provided examples of adjusting water-level data for accuracy.
