It emphasizes blending economic and environmental principles to achieve sustainable development. The core idea is that development should work alongside environmental concerns, considering the laws governing ecological systems. To create a sustainable society, it's crucial to establish clear indicators of sustainable development. Many efforts have been made to define these indicators since the 1990s, but there's still no widely accepted method. Countries and experts are actively working on this to enhance global sustainability.
