Institutional ownership impacts firm value more than capital structure in manufacturing.
This study looked at how a company's financial structure and institutional ownership affect its value through dividend policies in the consumer goods manufacturing sector. They analyzed data from 105 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014 to 2018. The results showed that financial structure and dividend policies significantly impact a company's value, while institutional ownership has a negative significant effect. Additionally, dividend policies can positively mediate the relationship between financial structure and company value, but not for institutional ownership.
