This experiment looked at different types of chickpeas planted at various times in the Rabi season in Prayagraj. They discovered that the C-206 variety planted on November 10th produced the most grain yield compared to other varieties and planting dates. Plant height, branches, flowering, and seeds per plant also varied with planting dates. Early planting in early November was best for C-206 variety, giving higher yields. Overall, starting chickpea planting early in November could lead to better yields under Prayagraj's climate conditions.
