77% of People in Mashhad Willing to Pay Environmental Tax on Gasoline
The goal of the study was to see if people in Mashhad are willing to pay a tax on gasoline to help the environment. They used a method called CVM to ask 500 people about their willingness to pay. The results showed that 77% of people are okay with paying the tax, while 22% don't want to pay anything for pollution. About 3% didn't say if they would pay or not. The study found that people who care about the environment are more likely to support the tax.
