New Study Reveals Native Aquatic Plants' Impact on Water Purification
Water pollution in China is a big problem, but using aquatic plants to clean up the water is a promising solution. In this study, researchers tested three different combinations of aquatic plants to see how well they could remove pollutants from dirty water. They found that all three plant combinations did a good job at removing nitrogen, phosphorus, and other pollutants, with one combination being slightly better than the others. However, some plants decayed during the experiment, which may have affected the results. Overall, using aquatic plants to clean up water can be effective, but it's important to manage plant decay properly.
