Hand weeding boosts paddy growth and yield, revolutionizing farming practices.
The study looked at different ways of planting and controlling weeds in rice fields to see how they affect the growth, yield, and quality of the rice. They tested four planting methods and four weed control techniques. The best results were seen with hand weeding at specific times, which led to taller plants, more shoots, more rice produced, and more nitrogen absorbed by the plants. The System of Rice Intensification (SRI) method also showed good results, with tall plants, many shoots, high rice yield, and good nitrogen levels in the grain and straw.
