Groundwater contamination in India threatens domestic and irrigation water sources.
Groundwater quality in Punjab, India was studied to see if it's safe for drinking and farming. Different tests were done to check for chemicals and minerals in the water. Results showed that some areas had water not good for drinking because of pollution from farming and industry. Other areas had water not good for farming because of too much salt and water buildup. Human activities are making the groundwater worse. Regular checks are needed to protect the water for future use.
