A study was done to see how different ways of planting rice and managing weeds affect the yield and profit of the crop. They tried four planting methods and four weed control practices. The best results came from planting rice using the System of Rice Intensification method, which gave the highest grain yield, harvest index, profit, and benefit-cost ratio. The most effective weed management was doing two hand weedings and using a specific herbicide, which also increased grain yield, profit, and benefit-cost ratio.
