The study looked at how the shape of a triangular plan form weir affects the amount of water it can handle. They tested different heights of the weir under different flow conditions. The results showed that the triangular plan form weir can handle more water than a normal weir of the same size. This type of weir is easy to install and useful for measuring water flow in open channels.
