Small Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Albania play a crucial role in the economy, but they struggle to access finance for growth. The study looked at how SMEs get funding, including from banks, non-bank institutions, and alternative methods. The findings show that bank lending needs improvement, more diverse financing options are needed, digital transactions should be promoted, and better coordination is necessary for government support.
