Moringa oleifera seeds were tested as a natural alternative to chemicals for treating water. The researchers found that using powdered Moringa oleifera seeds at a specific particle size and amount removed turbidity effectively. By extracting oil from the seeds, a bio-coagulant was produced and used in water treatment. Through experiments, they determined the best conditions for mixing speed, time, and dosage to achieve optimal turbidity removal. The treated water quality improved significantly, with reductions in turbidity, conductivity, TDS, COD, and BOD. This study shows that Moringa oleifera seeds can be a sustainable and effective solution for water treatment.
