Communities in Cameroon Embrace Sorcery and Multilocality to Combat Land Scarcity.
Communities in Cameroon are dealing with scarcity caused by land grabs by using two main strategies: living in multiple locations and using sorcery to promote resource regeneration. Instead of moving to cities, villagers are practicing residential multilocality, where they move to areas with more resources. Additionally, sorcery is being used to encourage eco-friendly behavior and help with resource regeneration. These strategies are helping communities cope with scarcity in a unique and effective way.
