In India, scientists studied how small farmers can make more money by using organic farming methods instead of buying expensive fertilizers and chemicals. They found that educating farmers about organic techniques was important to help them switch to this more natural way of farming. The farmers' main reasons for switching were to protect the environment and earn more money. Organic farming not only made farmers more profit but also had other positive effects on the environment. This study shows that moving towards organic farming can benefit both farmers and the environment in India.
