Social influence and risk averseness drive consumer demand for counterfeit products.
The study looked at why people buy fake products at Parkcity Mall Bintulu. They found that the main reasons are price, social influence, and personal satisfaction. People who are influenced by others and are cautious about risks are more likely to buy counterfeit items. Also, if someone has a positive attitude towards fake products, they are more likely to buy them. The study suggests that to reduce the demand for fake products, it's important to address social influence and risk averseness.
