Solar energy is a promising power source in India, and using photovoltaic systems efficiently captures and stores this energy for future use. Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) is a method to optimize power output from solar panels. The Incremental Conductance (IC) algorithm is a popular technique for MPPT due to its accuracy and adaptability. A study on implementing the IC method in a MPPT system found that it effectively controls the power converter to maximize efficiency and reduces oscillations, showing better performance compared to other methods.
