Green beans grown in plastic greenhouses benefit from a good irrigation plan. Researchers studied how different watering levels affect green bean production. They found that using less water actually increased the productivity of the irrigation system. So, watering at 60% of the usual rate gave the best results for growing green beans in unheated greenhouses.
