New herbicide method boosts maize yield, revolutionizing weed control in fields!
Weed infestation can harm maize fields, reducing yield. This study tested different weed control methods on maize growth and yield. The best results came from using herbicides before and after planting, like treatment T10. This method led to the highest number of kernels per row, kernel weight, plant height, leaf area, and overall yield. The weed-free plot also did well, showing that keeping weeds away is crucial for maize productivity. Overall, using herbicides in a specific sequence can effectively control weeds in maize fields and boost crop yield.
